30+ years after one of recent history’s most awful moments, a country has found a way to bring new life, industry and compassion for a much brighter future while keeping faith at its core. Africa New Life creates a direct line of impact to supporting the next generation of leaders to lift Rwanda out of poverty and into abundance.
I fell in love with Rwanda and Africa New Life Ministries when I was actually able to breathe the air, hug the people and gain an actual understanding of what life is truly like there. To see how far the Rwandan’s have actually come since the dark days of genocide and what Jesus Christ means to the people. What Africa New Life has been able to accomplish with their partnerships across the US is mind blowing. We sponsor a number of children in Kageyo, and have made it a mission of ours to help promote and provide more support for these families as much as possible. We encourage you to explore any opportunity you can to give back and join us on this mission. Education is the key, and child sponsorship is the way. For less than $2/day, you can make a massive impact in a family’s life for generations.

❋ Africa New Life Ministries exists to communicate the message of Jesus Christ in word and deed, to Africa and all the nations. This ministry will help all peoples to know about the relationship with God available to them through belief in Jesus as Savior. This will be accomplished by providing access to education, leadership training, and healthcare; through church planting and Christian discipleship; and through holistic care for vulnerable children, and women and men in need.
❋ Since 2001, Africa New Life has shared the gospel using two hands: the hand of compassion and the hand of evangelism. Our goal is to see lives transformed through meeting basic needs, to give hope for the future for those living in poverty in Rwanda, and to share the freedom and hope found in Christ. At the heart of our model for breaking cycles of poverty is educational sponsorship. With a high school education, or a vocational equivalent, children in Rwanda have hope for the future.

Africa New Life has built childcare centers to support mothers and their eduction to learn a skill to begin supporting their family’s financial needs. Many women travel multiple hours each day to obtain their degrees and certifications by bus, motorcycle or many by foot.

Africa New Life partners with the John Maxwell Leadership Foundation to teach the youth what it takes to become a next generational leader and taking ownership over their choices in a faith centered program.
Full Circle…
Steven & Lillian are both recipients of sponsors from the US. They have successfully worked through all of their education with sponsorship and now both have thriving careers in Law and Hospitality/Event planning. It was an honor to speak with these wise young adults and hear their stories to see how they rose above circumstance with their sponsor’s support. Steven is from Kageyo, and already sponsors other young kids from where he was raised, which is absolutely amazing.
Just sponsoring one child can change many, many lives. Africa New Life is not about just giving money, resources or handouts. It’s about sharing the good news of Jesus and education to lead themselves into a greater future despite any circumstance.
